According to TEAMtalk (via A BOLA), Liverpool are set to battle with Everton for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes.
The midfielder is believed to have a €100m release clause in his contract, but reports say that because of Sporting’s current financial situation Fernandes would be available for a cut-price €40m.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that Liverpool rejected suggestions that they are closing in on a £27million January transfer for Trabzonspor midfielder Abdulkadir Omur.
Liverpool currently are fighting for the Premier League title as they, with 54 points, are leading the league. While, Everton are 11th with 27 points.
