Liverpool set to sign contract with Porto coach

According to what has been reported by LiverpoolECHO, Liverpool are close to sign contract with Porto coach Vitor Matos.

Matos, currently working as assistant manager for the second team of Portuguese side, will be added to Jurgen Klopp’s coaching staff, to replace Pepijn Lijnders, who has been previously promoted from first-team development coach to Jurgen Klopp’s assistant, previously vacated after the exit of Zeljko Buvac.

The deal is close to be signed, as both sides are confident on the agreement.
