Liverpool set Shaqiri asking price as Klopp makes decision on new arrivals

Liverpool are holding out for at least £13million if they are to allow Xherdan Shaqiri to leave the club this summer. The Swiss international made just 14 Premier League appearances. Despite still having two years remaining on his five-year deal, Shaqiri has refused to confirm whether he will remain at Anfield, with interest from Europe anticipated. “At the moment, I don’t really want to talk about it,” he said on his future earlier this month.“I have a contract there and after the Euros, of course, I will talk to my agent. We will look at the situation and then we will decide how to proceed.” The ECHO report that Liverpool are expecting Serie A giants Lazio to make a bid later this summer. It is suggested that Jurgen Klopp is not looking to actively sell the player and will keep him at the club should a suitable offer not be received.
