Liverpool are set to battle with Barcelona for Brazilian right-back

Atletico Mineiro defender Emerson has been linked with a move to several clubs including Barcelona, Liverpool as well as Arsenal. (via TEAMtalk) Mundo Deportivo claim that Barcelona have identified the full-back as a potential target with Arsenal and Liverpool both also being interested in the player. Emerson, whose contract runs until 2022, has made 25 appearances this season, with having scored just one time. Brazilian website UOL recently reported that Atletico Mineiro were prepared to sell Emerson in the January transfer window.
