Liverpool sent Conor Coady transfer warning

Liverpool should not re-sign Conor Coady from Wolves because he does not have the attributes needed defensively, says Steve Nicol. Coady came through the Liverpool Youth Academy. Before making his move to Wolves, he has played for Huddersfield from 2014 to 2015. The Reds are currently in a search for a central defender as their star player Virgil van Dijk has suffered an ACL injury. "That's a tester, that's a tester though," Nicol told ESPN FC. "He's been a huge part of why Wolves have done well. His distribution out the back has been fantastic. "I'd suggest he's more of a sweeper than an actual centre-back, and actually Virgil van Dijk does both of these things. "He's a sweeper and he is a centre-back when it's needed. "So I wouldn't go and sign Coady but that's not to say he hasn't been fantastic for Wolves." source - Express Join us on Telegram
