Liverpool are officially waving goodbye to three players as their contracts with the club come to an end. June 30 is always a notable date in the football calendar, with contracts traditionally negotiated to end on that date. Gini Wijnaldum is the main departure for Liverpool. Wijnaldum made 237 appearances and scored 22 goals while winning the Champions League, Premier League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup. Yasser Larouci has been offered a new deal but will instead leave. The 20-year-old left-back made his senior debut as an early substitute for James Milner in the 1-0 FA Cup third-round win over Everton in January 2020. Finally, Ozan Kabak's association with Liverpool officially ended having signed on loan from Schalke in February. Injury meant Kabak was only able to make 13 appearances.
