Liverpool's Robertson thinks that his teammate "could play any position"

Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson thinks his teammate and defense partner Trent Alexander-Arnold 'could play any position'.

"Trent is Trent and that's the biggest compliment I can pay him", said the Scotland captain to praise his fellow Red. According to the 28-year-old, Trent-Alexander is a highly adaptable player and can easily change his playing position in the squad under new conditions. The 24-year-old is technically and naturally gifted as a player, which are assets that have been manifesting in his pitch performances.

As Jurgen Klopp's side has entered the market for skilled defenders, including Manchester City's Kyle Walker, it is bound to affect Trent Alexander-Arnold playing position by making him a full-time midfielder. The England international has made quite a few impressive appearances as a defender but even if another right-back joins Liverpool instead of Walker, the 24-year-old would still undergo a change of position.

Liverpool's 2022/23 season was a tough one. The team that is used to playing in the Champions League failed to achieved their ticket for the next tournament as they finished 5th in the Premier League table.
