Liverpool refuse to let their star join-up national team next month

Liverpool have rejected a call-up for Mohamed Salah for next month's international duty. The Egyptian Football Association have released an official statement saying the Reds have refused to let the player participate due to COVID-19.   In 2020/21 season most European major league footballers missed matches after international duty, as they had been tested positive while being away with their national teams. However, the reason for not allowing Salah to play for his country is because Egypt is in red list for travelling back to England. Therefore, the forward would need to quarantine after his return, meaning he would miss Premier League matches.   Source - independent Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
