Liverpool receive big transfer boost in reported pursuit, as player makes it clear he is open to move
Liverpool target Diego Carlos has revealed that he will only leave Sevilla ahead of the summer transfer window if he is to join "one of the top teams in the world."
The 27-year-old has played 31 games in all competitions for Sevilla. Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have been interested in him.
Carlos is believed to have a £65million release clause, according to El Desmarque.
“It was clear to me that coming to Sevilla was a huge step in my career as it’s a big club, and if one day I leave, it will only be for one of the top teams in the world,” Carlos said.
Carlos could be a replacement for Dejan Lovren.
