Liverpool pulls out of Nabil Fekir transfer race while Chelsea ready for £53m late assault

Liverpool have pulled out of the race to sign Nabil Fekir as Jurgen Klopp has finally decided to withdraw from the race to sign the France international after long lasting useless negotiations. He was on the verge of a £53million move to Liverpool earlier this summer, however, the move collapsed in strange circumstances. And now Chelsea have started to hold on talks with Lyon over Fekir’s transfer after pre-season friendly between the two teams, Express Sport claims. The Blues want the France international to be a “dramatic late transfer” and they have planned to announce his transfer before Thursday’s 5pm deadline.
