At the end of the 2020/2021 season number of players from top clubs will become free agents and might end up joining other clubs. Liverpool is among those clubs as three players from the club will become free agents in the summer.
Wijnaldum has been a Liverpool player since 2016 as he joined the Reds from Newcastle United. The 30-year-old’s current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2021 and recent reports suggested that Barcelona were interested in signing him. The midfielder, who has yet to make a decision on his future, has made 24 appearances overall during this season in which he has scored one goal.
Adrian joined the Reds during the summer of 2019 on a free transfer. His contract with Liverpool runs expires at the end of this season and it has an option for a further year. During this season he has made 2 Premier League appearances, one against Aston Villa and the second against Everton in October, and has conceded 9 goals.
The 23-year-old centre-back joined Liverpool in 2019. During the 2019/20 season, Phillips was loaned to VfB Stuttgart. During this season, the defender has made just 3 appearances for the Reds and in those games, he has played for full 90 minutes.
