Liverpool owners FSG send message to Jurgen Klopp amid ongoing struggles

Jurgen Klopp has claimed Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group hope that he can turn around the Reds' ongoing struggles this season. The reigning Premier League champions have lost their last five home matches - an unwanted club record - as their awful 2021 continues to see them tumble down the table. Speaking ahead of Sunday's match vs Fulham Klopp said: “We all expect more from us – to be honest. "We’re pretty realistic about the things we do and I don’t feel that the team are standing alone in the fire – I’m not sure whether that’s the right saying or not! "It’s just how it is in England – yes the players have interviews of course but the situation is that nobody else above me in the club speaks. “In Germany, typically the CEO, president or the sporting director gives an interview and faces questions such as ‘Is he the right coach still?’ and all of these kind of things – and then the manager is already half way out of the door. “The situation within the club, it is pretty clear.
