Liverpool offer “devastating” Tokyo Olympics player €8m per year

Liverpool have reportedly offered AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie €8 million per year, for a move to Anfield. Sports journalist Claudio Ramondi has claimed on Sport Mediaset, that the Reds have been in touch with the Ivory Coast international’s agent George Atangana. However, on their part, Milan want to renew the contract of Kessie and are willing to pay him €6 million (£5.13m) per year net. La Gazzetta Dello Sport has reported interest from Liverpool in Kessie, as well. The 24-year-old has been described as “devastating” and compared to former Barcelona and Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure by ex-AS Roma and Real Madrid player Antonio Cassano in Calciomercato in March 2021 – is playing for the Ivory Coast at the Tokyo Olympics at the moment.
