Liverpool have reportedly made £28.5m to AS Roma for their midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini, according to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport. The Reds are looking to rebuild their squad and challenge for the Premier League title once again and Georginio replacing Wijnaldum is one of their top priorities this summer.

Roma’s Pellegrini, 24, is also an Italian international and will be with the national team at the Euros this summer. And reports claim that the Reds have made their move with Pellegrini.

Pellegrini’s impressive form and relatively low price are expected to make him a suitable candidate for the Anfield side. Moreover, he has just one year left on his contract at Roma.
