How Liverpool could line up next season if Jurgen Klopp completes two transfers

Liverpool have the best squad in the Premier League and boss Jurgen Klopp isn’t under pressure to strengthen his starting XI. The club chairman Tom Werner says Jurgen Klopp will be backed to go one step further and bring the title back to Anfield next season. Werner hinted that there will be more signings this summer to improve the squad even further. Liverpool have been linked to a handful of big players in recent months. Ajax centre-back Matthijs de Ligt has long been linked with Barcelona, but Catalan giants fear Liverpool could beat them to the punch. The reason for this is De Ligt plays alongside Van Dijk for the Holland national team and has formed a sensational partnership with him in a short space of time. Nabil Fekir was very close to signing for Liverpool last summer before problems with his medical saw the plug in the eleventh hour. Liverpool still need to strengthen their centre midfield and Fekir has gone a whole season with Lyon without suffering any major knee injuries.
