Liverpool legend disagrees with what Jurgen Klopp said after the 1-0 win over Sheffield

Liverpool won 1-0 over Sheffield United on Saturday. With the win, the Reds continue their perfect start of Premier League as they are currently leading the league table with maximum points. Although Liverpool celebrated another victory, Klopp claimed that Sheffield deserved a point. But Liverpool legend Steve Nicol has disagreed with the Reds coach claiming that Liverpool deserved the win. “Listen, was it vintage? Absolutely not close to that,” Nicol told ESPN FC via Express. “I found it a little strange that after the game that Klopp said that they thought that Sheffield United deserved a draw. “I’m not quite sure where he gets that [from]. “Well he is [being magnanimous] because the truth is Liverpool were the better side, Liverpool did create chances, Mane himself should have had two in the first half, he should have had a penalty in the second half and of course Salah was clean through with the goalie to beat as well. “So yes Clarke may, may have done better with five minutes to go that could have got them the draw. “But the truth is Liverpool deserved to win the game but it wasn’t vintage.”
