Jurgen Klopp has confirmed Diogo Jota is fully back to training ahead of the club’s Premier League match against Sheffield United.
Reds are currently sitting in 6th place in the league table and will be hoping to have a successful match on Sunday.
Liverpool star Jordan Henderson became the latest injury concern for the Reds after he suffered a groin injury in the 2-0 defeat to Everton on Saturday.
Henderson underwent successful surgery and though the club have put no timescale on his recovery, according to reports as per The Times, the captain could be out for as long as eight weeks.
Liverpool are preparing to face Sheffield United in the Premier League on Sunday, February 28. After that, the Reds will host Chelsea on March 4.
Ahead of the game, match officials have been confirmed. Jonathan Moss will be the referee for Sheffiled vs Liverpool, while Marc Perry and Dan Robathan have been appointed as assistants. Lee Mason will be the fourth official.
Jamie Redknapp believes Liverpool will not miss out on a top-four finish in the Premier League this season based on their recent form. Jurgen Klopp’s men have slipped to sixth in the table following a run of four consecutive defeats.
Speaking on Sky Sports’ Pitch to Post Preview Podcast, Redknapp said: “It will come, of course it will come, but right now everything Liverpool do feels difficult.
