Liverpool journalist Ian Doyle has given his verdict concerning Luis Suarez's possible return to Anfield.
The Uruguayan professional joined Barcelona from the Reds back in 2014, playing a key role for Catalan giants and making a partnership with Lionel Messi.
However, the newly-appointed Barcelona manager has told that the 33-year-old is out of his plans for the next season.
And speaking about Suarez's possible reunion with the Reds, journalist has opened up on the Liverpool Echo’s
Blood Red Podcast:
“I wouldn’t take Suarez back at all. I actually think that he’s gone. He’s gone over the hill, in the sense of his pace has gone, I think, a little bit and while he’d be great just to bring on in the last 20 minutes and just annoy everybody, but, would he want to do that? I’m not sure. I think that particular boat [has] sailed.”
