Liverpool injury updates on three players ahead of Brighton clash

Liverpool are preparing to face Brighton in the Premier League on Wednesday, July 8. The Reds stars Andy Robertson and James Milner are expected to be available for the game, while Dejan Lovren remains a doubt. Milner missed Liverpool's 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Sunday with a slight muscle problem while Robertson was replaced at the end of the game after suffering a dead leg. Speaking about Milner, Klopp said: “Millie feels okay but it’s a little thing and we don’t want to take any risk. "When Millie says he feels something a little bit then we don’t go with any risk because he tends to ignore all the negative signs of his body!" Meanwhile, Robertson was asked by liverpoolfc.com about his fitness after the Villa game, and said: "All good, yeah. “I’ve just got a bit of a dead calf just in the challenge with (Jack) Grealish with about 20 minutes to go, just a tangle of legs and I got a dead calf. We’ll be good to go, it’s a hectic period, we need to keep as fresh as we can. “We made three changes to the starting line-up, so we’ll wait and see what the manager does on Wednesday. “I’ll be good to go and hopefully he picks me and hopefully we can have another positive performance.” Dejan Lovren has missed the Reds' last two games. Speaking about him, Klopp said: “Dejan still struggles with a little problem that has taken a bit longer than we thought, but it’s still not serious. "He didn’t give the green light so far so we have to wait a little bit longer.” source - LiverpoolECHO Join us on Telegram
