Liverpool hopeful that full-back will be fit for Bayern clash

Liverpool are hopeful that Trent Alexander-Arnold will be available to face Bayern Munich on Wednesday night in the Champions League after the defender limped off against Burnley yesterday. The full-back was taken off late on in the game at Anfield and was subbed for Daniel Sturridge, who had been poised to replace Sadio Mane, according to the Liverpool Echo. Alexander-Arnold had signalled to the bench that he felt some discomfort in his leg and was removed from the fray immediately as a precaution. Liverpool will monitor Alexander-Arnold closely and have not yet ruled him out of contention.
