Liverpool hero explains why the club should sign Kai Havertz

Liverpool hero Dietmar Hamann has named Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz as the Bundesliga player that Premier League clubs should be looking at. The 20-year-old, who is regarded as one of the most exciting youngsters in European football, has attracted interests from host of European giants, with Bayern Munich and Liverpool among them. Speaking to Sky Sports' Football Show, Hamann stated that he believes Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, should be keeping their eye on Havertz. “He is an exceptional player, he reminds me of a young Michael Ballack. He has got that air of arrogance in a good way, he’s just a natural, he’s tall, he’s two-footed, he’s good in the air, he is very versatile and can play in any position," said former Reds midfielder. “I think he is the best player we have got in Germany at the moment.
