Liverpool handed "worrying" Jordan Henderson injury update

Jordan Henderson has undergone a successful surgery on the injury he sustained during last weekend's Merseyside derby with Everton. The Liverpool captain was subbed after half an hour of the Anfield clash having picked up a groin issue that left him unable to continue. The return date is not sure yet, however, Henderson will be ruled out initially until after the March international break.

We can confirm Jordan Henderson has undergone a successful operation on the injury he sustained during Saturday’s Merseyside derby with Everton.
