Liverpool handed boost in race to sign Juventus player as rivals decide against deal

Liverpool target Marko Pjaca could be back on the transfer market, according to Calciomercato. Fiorentina paid £1.75m to Juventus to sign the Croatia International on a season-long loan in a deal which also included an option to buy him outright, however, Fiorentina have decided not to take up that option and winger will return to Juventus. Juventus will be looking to find him a new club, due to little room in the first-team squad. And that could tempt Liverpool. The Reds were vying to land the talented 23-year-old star. Croatia international Pjaca has made 11 appearances for Fiorentina during his loan spell, scoring one goal for La Viola in a 3-0 defeat of SPAL.
