Liverpool given another hope for Werner

According to reports from Germany, RB Leipzig don’t want to give Timo Werner on free terms. German international’s contract expires in 2020 and Bayern will reportedly sign him for free. Liverpool have been interested in signing 22-year-old star in recent months, as Merseyside club have been looking to complete another transfer from Leipzig. Naby Keita was the first German club star, who joined Merseyside club last summer. "Nobody has approached us from Bayern. There will not be a case like Leon Goretzka and Robert Lewandowski between us and Timo Werner.” Leipzig boss Ralf Rangnick said (via LiverpoolECHO). “This option does not exist and we do not need to talk about this scenario. “Clubs that want him will report in the summer and then we will find a fair, mutually agreed solution. “Everything else is not an option." he added.
