They can not face Napoli, as they were in the same group and they can not compete with Tottenham and Chelsea, as they are from the same country. Possible opponents for Liverpool are Real Madrid, Atalanta, Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Olympic Lyon. Lyon would be the ideal opponent for the Reds, however, according to latest prediction the Reds are set to face Atletico Madrid. Of all possible matchups, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid is the most likely- 22.40%. There's a 21.58% chance that Liverpool could face Real Madrid. For Borussia Dortmund, the percentage is 20.62. The likelihood of Liverpool to face Atalanta is 18.44%. However, Lyon V Liverpool is the least likely -16.97%.
