Liverpool 'expected' to return with another Timo Werner bid to challenge Chelsea

Liverpool have been long linked with RB Leipzig star Timo Werner, however, the player is now looking set to join Chelsea. Although Werner is on his way to Chelsea, according to transfer expert Ian McGarry, the Reds are "expected" to return with another bid for the Leipzig star. "It will be interesting to see how Jurgen Klopp responds to this setback, if indeed that is the case," McGarry said on the Transfer Window podcast. "Obviously Werner's yet to actually sign for Chelsea despite the clause being met.
