Liverpool are entering the final stages of Ibrahima Konate's deal. The RB Leipzig star is top of the wish list at Anfield. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp desperate to bolster his defence as they had many problems, with Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip injured for the season. The Reds are set to win the race for the 21-year-old after entering the final stages of an agreement. According to Sport Bild, the final stages are being put together over an agreement that would see the Frenchman leave for Anfield this summer. Konate's release clause is worth €40m but the report also states that the youngster looks set to leave for a lot less. His price has dropped from €40m to as low as €32.5m.
