Liverpool are reportedly among the four European clubs interested in Red Bull Salzburg striker Patson Daka. Reports emanating from Salzburger Nachrichten in Austria suggest the 22-year-old could be on his way to the Premier League soon. He has scored 27 goals in all competitions this season from only 31 appearances. Daka netted the same number of goals in 2019/20 too, and was just outside the top 10 for assists in the Austrian top division with six. If the Salzburg man matches up to someone who the Reds have purchased in the past then that only adds credence to the link with Liverpool. He has taken 67 shots in the league so far this season ( per FBRef ), and scored 20 goals giving the Zambian international a conversion rate of 30 per cent. Daka has said in the past that he has been inspired by the success enjoyed by the likes of Mane and Salah, so would probably jump at the chance to link up with them at Anfield. He is reportedly priced at just £17m, which seems cheap considering his apparent ability.
