Liverpool could see six players leave in January transfer window

Liverpool might see the January transfer window as a case of unfinished business as the Reds U23s squad could look different after the upcoming window. Yasser Larouci was expected to leave on a permanent deal in summer, while Caoimhin Kelleher and Liam Millar attracted interest from the loan market. All three players remained at Liverpool, however, during the January transfer window it could change, according to LiverpoolECHO. Abdi Sharif signed a contract extension with the Reds and in January, when he turns 20, he could look for a loan move in the second half of the season. Sepp van den Berg has featured in four first-team matches, however, despite the defensive injury crisis, the 18-year-old remains with the U23s and any new signing could see him being loaned. Meanwhile, Joe Hardy, 22, who joined the Reds from Brentford in January 2020, faces a decision over his future, as Liverpool do not usually allow players of his age to remain in the U23s squad without making the step-up to first-team training or being handed a loan. source - LiverpoolECHO Join us on Telegram
