Liverpool could be awarded all three points after the Premier League clash with Manchester United was abandoned.

The two sides were to face each other at Old Trafford on Sunday, however, the game didn’t kick off because of the fans’ protests.

Now, according to Claret and Hugh, the Reds could be awarded all three points as United could be found guilty to have been at fault for the match not going ahead.

The rule reads:

“In the event of a match being abandoned due to the conduct of one Club or its members or supporters the Board has the power to order that the match is not replayed and to award either one or three points to the Club not at fault.”.

It is a huge boost for Liverpool as the club continue their run to reach the Premier League top 4.
