Former Manchester United winger Memphis Depay could soon leave Lyon with several clubs interested in the player.
The Netherlands international moved to Old Trafford from PSV Eindhoven in the summer of 2015 but failed to make impression under the guidance of Louis van Gaal and then his successor Jose Mourinho.
Depay was reluctantly sold by Mourinho just over two years ago and the 25-year-old has gradually rebuilt his reputation in France, scoring 30 goals in 80 Ligue 1 appearances.
According to L’Equipe, Depay is currently confident that he can impress at one of Europe;s heavyweight clubs and Liverpool are monitoring Depay’s situation, especially in light of Real Madrid’s interest in Sadio Mane.
The Senegal international has shot to the top of Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid transfer wish list with Los Blancos yet to fill the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Juventus.
