Liverpool chairman Tom Werner has spoken out on Jurgen Klopp future at the club. German specialist, who has joined Merseyside club during 2015/16 season, replacing Brendan Rodgers, has reached 3 different cup finals (Europa League, Carabao Cup and Champions League) and is yet to win a title. This year, Liverpool produced an incredible domestic season with 97 points and only 1 defeat in 38 matches, but lost the title to Manchester City, as Pep Guardiola's side won EPL title with 98 points. However, Reds will face Tottenham in Champions League final and have a chance to bring the biggest European trophy back to Liverpool after 14 years. Werner told LiverpoolECHO: “We don't really want to discuss his situation publicly, especially so close to the final,” Werner said. “But I think you know that we think the world of him. We have already extended his contract once. “All I can say is that it's obviously important that he stays for as long as he likes. We believe that he's committed to Liverpool. “Every time those rumours come up we bat them down,” he added. Source - LiverpoolECHO
