Liverpool CEO responds to Sir Alex Ferguson's after 17 years

Liverpool CEO Peter Moore has remembered Sir Alex Ferguson's popular phrase from 2002. Former Manchester United manager told reporters 17 years ago, that his biggest challenge was "knocking Liverpool off their f***ing perch". "We are back on our perch, as we famously say" Moore told Michael Robinson during an interview at the World Football Summit in Madrid (via BBC). Since Sir Alex Ferguson's left Manchester United in 2013, Red Devils have failed to win Premier League and are struggling this season under Ole-Gunnar Solskjaer, while Liverpool have become one of the strongest clubs in the world under Jurgen Klopp, which was proved with their win in Champions League last season and the ambitions in the Premier League. Merseyside club are currently leading after 6 match-days with 100 % result. Reds will face MK Dons later today in Carabao Cup third round before facing Sheffield United this weekend. https://twitter.com/ESPNFC/status/1176897648156131334
