Liverpool break new record as they have the worst Premier League start in the last 10 years

Liverpool have broken a number of records during their long-term run. The current team managed by Jurgen Klopp reached so much success that the critics even called them "the best" in the club's history.

However, the Reds now face hard times as they have registered two draws and one loss in the first three game of the 2022/23 Premier League season.

Klopp's team just gained two points after their two draws with Fulham and Crystal Palace. Then followed the shocking 2 - 1 defeat to Erik ten Hag's Manchester United.

As a result, Liverpool are sitting in 16th place in the Premier League table. This is their worst start of the Premier League season in the last 10 years and during Klopp's management.

Back in 2012, Brendan Rodgers took charge of the Reds following Kenny Dalglish's departure. His team only could record two points in the first five matches of the 2012-13 season, finishing 7th in the league table.

The stats are worrying for Klopp's winning team amid the league title run with Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham.

Liverpool will be looking to change the situation in the next game against Bournemouth that will take place on August 27.
