Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp urged to complete Timo Werner transfer

Former Liverpool player John Aldridge has encouraged the Reds to sign RP Leipzig player Timo Werner. Werner has been at the center of attention during the January transfer window as he is being linked with a move from the Bundesliga side. The 23-year-old has scored 25 goals in his 27 appearances during this season with having provided 10 assists. Writing in his column in the Independent Aldridge said: "I can see (Dejan) Lovren, (Adam) Lallana and (Xherdan) Shaqiri leaving, so Klopp will want to replace them with young and hungry players who fit into his mould. "Prolific Red Bull Leipzig striker Timo Werner would be a great option and the joy for Liverpool will be that every player will want to be part of their success story. "I saw Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe eulogising Liverpool in an interview a few days ago and it confirmed that the world’s greatest players are captivated by the story Klopp has pieced together.
