Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has provided an injury update on Joel Matip, who missed the Reds 3-1 victory over West Ham on Sunday. Matip suffered ligament damage during the Reds 3-1 victory over Tottenham. The defender has overall made 12 appearances this season having scored one goal and provided two assists. Amid Matip's injury, the Reds are closing in on a £2million deal for Preston North End defender Ben Davies. The defender will undergo a medical on Monday. "With Joel we don't have the final diagnosis," Klopp said. "Specialists must have a look and stuff like this until we know exactly.
