Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly identified replacement for Virgil van Dijk and could be able to bring in his new centre-back for just £27.5million.
The Dutch defender will likely miss the rest of the Premier League season after suffering an ACL injury, with fears his injury could be worse than it seems.
According to Express, Klopp has apparently identified Ozan Kabak of Schalke as his top target for centre-back position. The 20-year-old was reportedly looked at during the summer window, but no formal bid was made.
Now, reports suggest he could be available for just £27.5m. The Reds’ boss is said to be interested in Kabak because of his potential, as he can be coached into becoming a world-class centre-back.
