It was revealed that the 16-year-old would link up with Liverpool’s academy set up and start training with their first-team.
In the meantime, Wroclaw academy co-ordinator Milosz Gladoch has told Futbol.pl that several clubs around Europe including Tottenham were interested in landing the teenager. The report claims that Spurs, along with the likes of Inter Milan, Juventus, Bayern Munich, and Benfica were all keen on the shot-stopper.
But Mrozek is said to have impressed during a trial he had with Jurgen Klopp’s side last year and now that he has turned 16, he has signed his first professional contract with the club that runs until 2024.
