Liverpool continue their Premier League title push as they are playing against Southampton at St. Mary’s. The Reds have endured a busy start to the new season after the midweek trip to Istanbul. Jurgen Klopp’s men claimed their second European trophy of the year with a penalty shootout victory over Chelsea in the Super Cup. Liverpool defeated Norwich 4-1 on an opening day and will be hoping to claim another three points on the south coast. The big news for the Reds is that Adrian starts between the sticks. He was a doubt after suffering a freak injury when a supporter collided with him in Istanbul. In total, Klopp made three changes from the team deployed in the Super Cup final in midweek, with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Georginio Wijnaldum and Roberto Firmino restored to the XI. In the last minute of the first half, Sadio Mane opened the score. Roberto Firmino doubled the lead for the Reds in the 71st minute of the second half, after an assist by Mane.
