Liverpool are edging closer to completing the signing of Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich, who was in the Reds' radar for quite some months already.
As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Jurgen Klopp's side have booked medical checks for the Dutch midfielder for early Friday morning, as it is the last day of the summer transfer window. The 21-year-old, travelling to the Merseyside tonight, is expected to to sign a five-year contract at Anfield Stadium.
The young player has missed trainings with Bayern Munich, as he was preparing for his move to the Premier League. According to the latest updates, the Reds are offering a fee in the region of £40m to secure the services of Gravenberch.
The Bayern youngster's flight to UK is estimated to depart at 7:20 pm local time on Thursday. Thomas Tuchel's side are keen to sign Joao Palhinha from Fulham, to fill the gap in the squad.
