Liverpool on alert as RB Leipzig star Timo Werner has decided on his future
RB Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff has revealed that Timo Werner is not going to extend his contract, that will expire in 2020, Daily Mail reports, referring to Sky Sports Germany.
Several European tops including Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Liverpool are interested in signing 23-year-old forward who has impressed since joining Leipzig from Stuttgart in 2016.
Werner has scored 16 goals and provided 9 assists this season. He recently scored one of the two goals of his team against Wolfsburg (2-0) to help his team be confident in Top - 4 race of Bundesliga.
As Werner is not going to extend his contract, Leipzig may want to sell him this summer to gain some cash and interested club have given a chance to make the move happen.
