Liverpool’s recruitment team are reportedly interested in Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford.
According to
Goal, the Reds wanted to sign the 28-year-old over the summer, although their interest didn’t go far.
Bamford wasn't delighted over playing backup to the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Diogo Jota.
So the England international signed a new five-year contract at Elland Road.
However, Liverpool remain admirers of the ex-Chelsea forward, and Jurgen Klopp has openly praised him before:
“He’s an exceptional player. The work-rate is outstanding, and he still plays the football he plays on top of that, and scores goals. That’s rare.”
