Liverpool have until 12pm on Thursday to get new players in and registered

Liverpool will have to register any new signing before midday on Thursday if they are to face Norwich in their Premier League opener. Harvey Elliott and Sepp van den Berg have arrived on Merseyside but Jurgen Klopp wants to make at least one addition before the transfer window closes. Premier League rules state Liverpool must register any deadline day signings by midday on Thursday. Section U, sub-section 23 reads: "The deadline for receipt by the Board of all duly completed documents required by these Rules to effect the registration of a Player shall be 12 noon on the last Working Day before the date of the first League Match in which the Club making the application intends him to play, save that the international transfer certificate and evidence of eligibility to take up employment in the United Kingdom (in both cases if applicable) may be provided thereafter (but must be provided before the Player is registered by the League)."
