Lionel Messi’s nightmare continued as Argentine was booed by Barcelona fans
Liverpool’s historical comeback ended the dream of Barcelona captain Lionel Messi to return the Champions League title back to Barcelona for the first time in 4 years.
After beating Liverpool 3-0, Barcelona were favourites to qualify for the final match, however Jurgen Klopp and his team produced another incredible night at Anfield.
Messi, who has join his teammates separately, as he underwent doping tests, was booed by Barcelona fans near John Lennon Airport.
According to what has been reported by El Chiringuito TV (via Metro) fans were chanting: “Messi you are the captain! You are the one in charge!’ ‘Only [Marc-Andre] Ter Stegen. All year, all f***ing year, only Ter Stegen!”
Barcelona have already secured title in La Liga and can also win Copa Del Rey if they beat Valencia in final match.
Meanwhile, Liverpool will face Wolves at Anfield in the last match-day of EPL as title race isn’t finished yet.
Merseyside club will know their opponents for Champions League final later today.
