Lille president Gerard Lopez gives an update on Liverpool target Nicolas Pepe

Lille 24-year-old right winger Nicolas Pepe has been linked with a move as several clubs including Liverpool have shown an interest in the player. Amid the speculations, Ligue 1 side president Gerard Lopez has revealed that it’s true that there have been talks with agents in an interview with RMC. “I know that there have been talks with him, but not with us as a club. Liverpool have players in his (Pépé’s) position. I read that he could go there if players leave. I’m not fixed on Liverpool.
