Liam Delap's insanely brilliant goal will make Manchester City fans dream of perfect future strike force

Manchester City youngster Liam Delap scored a brilliant goal for the under-23s on Sunday. City named a strong side in the Premier League 2 meeting with Chelsea, looking to beat the side they recently were victorious over in the FA Youth Cup final. After missing 14 players from the midweek EFL Trophy game at Lincoln, City welcomed back the likes of Delap, Tommy Doyle, Cole Palmer, CJ Egan-Riley and Luke Mbete. Coach Enzo Maresca also rewarded some of his best performers at Lincoln with a start, as Claudio Gomes, Callum Doyle and Romeo Lavia retained their places. And it was City who took control of the game, as Delap played a one-two with Adrian Bernabe from the right-hand corner of the pitch to move inside through two defenders and unleash a lovely curling effort into the far corner. Later, captain Tommy Doyle found the top corner from a free kick outside the box to double City's lead with a fine strike of his own. However, second-half goals from Billy Gilmour and Myles Peart-Harris got Chelsea back on level terms to earn a point. Despite the results, Delap's goal was a perfect net, which will make City fans believe they have a perfect striker force in the future. Here is the goal, enjoy!
