Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has hinted that he may not be in Formula 1 for much longer.
Wolff first acquired a 30 per cent stake in Mercedes in 2013.
He has seen his team bag their sixth double this season.
The Austrian told
The Telegraph: “
I don’t want to come across as ungrateful.
“You ask, ‘Are you still not happy with six titles?’ I am, in a way, happy with how it went, but I don’t want to fall into the satisfaction trap, because that means I will not give it the same hunger, anger and hard work.
“I have launched myself into projects. It’s fun. I’ve had bad days, but I haven’t worked a single day. I’m doing what I enjoy most. Today it is F1 – it could be something else in the future.”
