Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Hamilton had agreed a new two-year deal with Mercedes earlier this month.
However, according to Corriere dello Sport via Marca, Hamilton – whose current Mercedes contract expires at the end of 2020 – has asked his team for a larger extension.
Hamilton asking salary of “55 million euros”.
