Lewis Hamilton has praised Tyson Fury after his KO win over Deontay Wilder on Saturday night.
Fury made a dig at Hamilton, earlier, when talking about his own lack of honours in the UK.
The 'Gypsy King' remarked to the
Mail about the lack of recognition in his own country where, “unlike Lewis Hamilton I live and pay taxes which went up to £9million last year.”
However, despite this jibe, Hamilton said of the fight:
“You can’t deny the Fury.
“He’s worked through all the lows to remain on top.
“No matter what he’s said about me, I have huge respect for the work and commitment and sacrifice it takes to be number one.
“Congrats champ, blessings to you and your family. Enjoy this time, you’ve earnt it.”
