Lewis Hamilton reveals why he is an ODD racing driver

Lewis Hamilton, who is second in the current standings after four races, has revealed why he is an ODD racing driver.  The five-time Formula One World Champion isn’t afraid to put his foot down on the track. Mercedes have dominated 2019 so far with four one-two finishes, thanks to diver Valtteri Bottas and Hamilton. “I like going slow,” Hamilton told Auto Bild when asked how he drives on the normal road. “I don’t honestly drive a lot - I’m an odd racing driver I think. Every racing driver that I know likes to practice, likes testing, likes simulator. I like competing but I don’t like driving on the road very often, I avoid it if I can.” Hamilton is one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time. The Brit is two world championships behind Michael Schumacher and 16 race wins behind the German. However, Hamilton wants to get better and better and never give up. “No one is a perfect racing driver,” he added. “It’s the imperfections that make you great, not the perfections. It’s the imperfections that make us unique, make us different and separate us. I have flaws, look at my last race. I’ve done thousands of starts and I didn’t get a good start again but I made up for it. I never give up, I keep believing.” Next time Hamilton will be in action on Sunday, May 12 in the Spanish Grand Prix at Circuit de Barcelona –Catalunya.
